A recent article by CNNMoney.com talks about how more and more Americans are paying their medical doctors with credit cards. Though some advise against this practice, patients are faced with the choice of not paying the doctor at all or paying with credit.
According to the report American’s spend close to $294 billion annually in out of pocket costs to cover medical expenses and about $74 billion of that (and rising) is being spent using credit cards.
As healthcare costs keep rising just about everyone agrees that this trend will not only continue, but will greatly increase as well.
