Google Checkout will begin charging standard transaction fees to Non-Profits
Google has announced recently
on their blog that they will be restructuring their checkout
to now include standard fees for Non-Profits. So this
means that soon the days of their giving away processing will
be over.
This comes as no surprise as
there is not much room for giving away financial services
anymore with the economy facing the problems that it's
facing. The costs of offering payment services are also
increasing as there are compliance requirements that must be
met, along with constant fraud monitoring and service enhancements.
Businesses and organizations
looking to accept payments need to really understand that the
services they benefit most from usually do come with a
