There has been an increase in attempts by scamsters to steal card numbers and plug them into websites just to see if the cards still work. This practice has been increasing. Just be sure to monitor your online orders, check for AVS responses on your online transactions, and utilize any fraud prevention features that your online gateway has.

Touch-Pay Advanced (www.touchpayadvanced.com) (an extension of the standard Touch-Pay mobile payment entry service) is a payment service that enables merchants to use an online/payment gateway account to both process payments online, in a mobile environment (such as trade shows or in front of a customer), and allow their customers to pay bills via touch-tone phone by using it's secure touch-tone technology.
The Touch-Pay Advanced technology integrates with secure payment gateways, allowing gateways to use our transaction processing features from a touch-tone phone, eliminating the need for another "wireless" merchant account or a laptop with a wireless connection while also extending touch-tone bill-pay capabilities to your customers. Touch-Pay Advanced access is simple, it only requires a Touch-Pay Advanced account which allows merchants to manage payment gateways, user access, touch-tone payment reports, etc., with the click of a button.
Touch-Pay Advanced also allows merchants to assign "touch-tone pin numbers" to different users/employees within their company, thus offering the capability to manage access and track user-specific order entry activity.
The web address for Touch-Pay Advanced is:

DonorCharge is an electronic donation payments and allocation service that enables businesses to allocate portions of each electronic sale processed to participating non-profits or charities of their choice in a paper-free and environmentally friendly manner.
Using DonorCharge makes it easier for donations to reach Non-Profits/Charities by allowing business/donors to donate a portion of each e-payment (credit card or check) transaction to DonorCharge registered Non-Profits.
Non-Profits may also accept direct donations using the DonorCharge Direct Donations feature. Using this feature someone interested in supporting your Non-Profit/Charity may simply click the "Make a One-Time Direct Donation" link, fill in their information and causes that they would like to support, submit the donation, and your Non-Profit will be notified of the donation instantly. Direct Donations will take 24-48 hours to reach your Non-Profit's checking account. This is an optional feature that you may add to your DonorCharge donation allocation account, allowing you receive both direct deposits, and small donations from participating Donors.
Direct Donations (Not Just Internet) - We also offer solutions that allow Non-Profits to accept direct donations. We not only offer online donation solutions but we also offer solutions for Non-Profits looking for Retail/Hardware, Wireless, Mail/Phone Order, or Internet accounts. Click here to request a custom quote.
The DonorCharge service is not exclusive to online businesses, unlike other solutions we allow Retail, Restaurant, Mail/Phone Order, Online, and even Mobile businesses to contribute to their favorite organizations with each credit card or check sale.
Because DonorCharge is essentially paperless, it also helps keep a portion of the fundraising process environmentally friendly, by allowing our system to perform the donations to Non-Profits' checking accounts electronically using our online depositing system.
DonorCharge is free for both Non-Profits/Charities and businesses to signup. http://www.donorcharge.com

Forum rules - last revision 08/05/2007
Welcome to the MerchantSeek.com Forum. In order to make your stay as pleasant and constructive as possible, please take your time to read through this document. We desire a respectful and peaceful community and the Terms of Service are designed to help you know what to expect. These rules can be changed without notice though normally we announce changes via announcement in all the forums.
1) First and foremost: Be nice to each other. Treat the moderators and other members respectfully. Harassment, profanity, insults, and personal attacks will NOT be tolerated.
If you have a problem with another member turn to the nearest moderator and if the moderator can't help you send a private message to Admin.
2) Do not spam. No advertising, No merchant provider business recommendations, No complaints on companies or account issues. When searching for a referral or company please consult with our "Find Merchant Account Provider" link which directs you to the homepage's find provider function: http://www.merchantseek.com#search, this feature is useful for both finding provider's by your state or location and finding a provider based on more specific business needs by using the wizard to find a provider. As for recommendations and/or complaints please use our "Merchant Provider Reviews" section located at http://www.merchantseek.com/reviews/. Please be aware that the reason for this policy is that we do not want this forum to become a place where merchant companies may login and pretend to be a user simply for their own advertising purposes.
3) Links to content of a questionable nature will not be tolerated.
4) No fighting. Lively discussions are expected ... fighting and attacking are not. If a thread is locked, do not start new threads to continue the argument or complain about the moderators. Sometimes the threads are reopened; if you have questions or concerns send a Private Message to Admin.
5) Multiple registrations are prohibited and are grounds for immediate account deletion and termination.
6) If you don't comply with these rules you'll have to face a set of sanctions.
Sanctions - or what awaits you if you don't stick to the forum rules
When people choose to keep infringing these rules, moderators can issue a "strike." A strike remains for 30 days, after which it is removed.
Members are allowed three strikes. After a third strike, the member will be placed on "moderator approval" status for a 3-day period. That means that when you post, it will not show up on the board until a moderator is online, reviews it, and approves it.
After the 3rd day, you go back to your most recent 2 strikes. If you recieve another third strike (before the remaining 2 expire), you will be put on moderator approval status for 30 days. After the 30-day period you get a fresh start, and the cycle starts over again.
If you wish to contest a strike send a PM to Admin with a reference to the post in question and an explanation of why you think the strike is not justified. In case of a suspension you can send complaints to: msinfo@merchantseek.com
