New Year's Resolution, It's Not Too Late
By: Jim Conley II, MerchantSeek.com

We're well into the middle of January now, but that doesn't
mean it's too late to make a few New Year's resolutions for
your business. Why not spend some time in an evening
thinking about and writing down what you would like to do to
make your business more successful? Consider the topics of
customer service, marketing/promotion, design/layout, content,
etc. Try to at least come up with one way you can enhance
each topic area. Maybe for marketing it's advertising in e-
zines, for content, adding one new informative article to your
site each week. The possibilities are endless. Set some realistic
goals that you know you can complete. Once you've completed
those, make up some more goals. Goals are meant to be fulfilled,
just as promises are to be kept. Don't over-set your goals, take
your time and build up rather than trying to take one huge leap.
You'll find "baby steps" are a whole lot easier and less stressful
to complete, not to mention more likely to be completed.
